The Pareto principle states that for many outcomes, roughly 80% of consequences come from 20% of causes. Yes, this profound concept is ignored by cybersecurity which continues to pursue an outdated and outmoded whack-a-mole strategy. 80% of cyber-attacks can be attributed to some type of compromised identity. Identity and access are the areas of cyber that is 100% in the organization’s control. What this means is that 80% of the cyber consequences can be protected if we can empower customers with complete control to manage all of their identity risks.

This is the vision and mission that underpins Stack Identity. Data and information-centric business models are disrupting traditional cybersecurity. Identity is the new rubric.
